DIANA supports innovators advancing critical solutions across defence and security — and Grengine will be working alongside 150 pioneering companies from across 24 NATO nations. This selection recognizes the global relevance of cyber-secure, resilient energy systems and the importance of strengthening energy and power infrastructure for both defence and civilian use.

We have worked with the International Minerals Innovation Institute (supported by BHP, Cameco, Mosaic, and Nutrien), to replace greenhouse gasses emitted by diesel generators at remote mining sites, ensuring no disruptions to the grid or power supply, saving time & money while supporting the health of the environment.

Electric Vehicles & Charging
We support the development of electronic vehicle charging sites. As the number of EVs on the road increases, so does the demand for electricity to charge them; we are there to help fill this gap. Our work is in line with the Government of Canada’s goal to have charging sites every 250km along the Trans Canada highway.

Remote Communities
We help remote communities minimize their dependence on fossil fuels (diesel, propane, furnace oil) with our sustainable energy solutions. Our goal is to provide access to clean energy in remote and underserved communities, helping improve quality of life and support economic development while reducing environmental impact.
How can our tech support remote communities?
- Enhanced economic development by providing access to reliable and sustainable energy, which supports opportunities for businesses, education, and healthcare
- Energy independence for communities that are located far from the grid or in areas where grid access is unreliable
Pop-Up Cities
We have worked with the Government of Canada’s Department of National Defence to replace diesel in mobile and temporary situations. We power camps in areas with limited access to grid electricity (military, mash, refugee, forestry) and we use renewable energy solutions while leaving a site with a lowered carbon footprint.
How can our tech support pop-up cities?
- Quick deployment of BESS systems, creating a reliable source of power to pop-up cities, reducing the need for expensive and time-consuming grid connections
- Improved safety by eliminating the use of diesel generators that produce harmful emissions, and pose possible fire hazards
